Installing GEO-Lens takes under 60 seconds. Visit the Chrome Web Store, search for “GEO-Lens,” click “Add to Chrome,” and confirm the installation. Pin the extension to your toolbar for one-click access to AI search audits.

Before You Start #

Make sure you have:

Google Chrome browser (version 88 or higher) — also works on Brave, Edge, Arc, and other Chromium browsers
Active internet connection for downloading the extension

Note: GEO-Lens is not yet available for Firefox or Safari. We're working on cross-browser support.

Once installed, GEO-Lens provides instant audits using the GEO CORE model to evaluate your content for AI search optimization. The extension offers both Lite and Pro modes to suit different needs.

Installation Steps #

Step 1: Open the Chrome Web Store #

Open Chrome and navigate to the Chrome Web Store:

Step 2: Find GEO-Lens (SeenOs) #

Search for “SeenOs” or “GEO-Lens” in the store, or use the direct link below:

Step 3: Click “Add to Chrome” #

On the GEO-Lens extension page, click the blue “Add to Chrome” button in the top right.

Step 4: Confirm Installation #

A popup will appear showing the permissions GEO-Lens requires:

Read and change data on sites you visit: Required to analyze page content
Display notifications: Optional alerts for audit completion

Click “Add extension” to confirm.

Privacy Note

GEO-Lens analyzes content locally in your browser. In Lite mode, no data leaves your device. Pro mode sends page content to AI services for analysis—you control when this happens.

Step 5: Pin to Toolbar #

After installation, pin GEO-Lens to your toolbar for easy access:

1Click the puzzle piece icon in the Chrome toolbar
2Find GEO-Lens in the list
3Click the pin icon next to it

The GEO-Lens icon will now appear in your toolbar for one-click access.

Verify Your Installation #

To confirm GEO-Lens is working:

1Navigate to any webpage (try this article!)
2Click the GEO-Lens icon in your toolbar
3Wait 5-10 seconds for the audit to complete
4You should see a GEO score and checkpoint results

Troubleshooting #

Extension Not Visible in Toolbar #

If you don't see GEO-Lens in your toolbar:

Click the puzzle icon to see all extensions
Pin GEO-Lens (click the pin icon)
Check chrome://extensions to ensure it's enabled

Audit Not Running #

If clicking the icon doesn't start an audit:

Refresh the page you want to audit
Make sure you're on a public webpage (not a local file or system page)
Try disabling and re-enabling the extension

Permission Denied Errors #

Some pages block extension access:

Chrome Web Store pages cannot be audited
Chrome system pages (chrome://) are not accessible
Some corporate sites block extensions—try a different page
